The True Meaning of Simplicity
Other task lists, GTD apps, and to-do lists may be easy to use. Some have fantastic interfaces, others not so much.
One thing that other to-do lists don't have is simplicity. SimpleTask for Mac brings both a beautiful interface and an unparalleled ease of use to your Mac.
All from the Keyboard
Adding a task is as simple as hitting Enter. From there you can type in your information, and hit Enter again to confirm. You'll never have to move your hands from the keyboard, making adding to your to-do list as simple as writing on a piece of paper.
Choose what's Important
Most other task oriented applications add a number to the dock badge for every task you add. The badge is constantly there, ignored and useless.
SimpleTask allows you to choose which tasks you want to reminded of. Now, if you have an ongoing project or a "whenever it gets done" type job, it won't show in the dock constantly, allowing the dock badge to have its job back.
Way Better than Paper
Sure, we're trying to bring the ease of the paper To-Do list to the computer, but that doesn't mean we're bringing along all its inconveniences as well.
SimpleTask automatically sorts by the date created, but you can drag them into any order you want, to prioritize your way. Tasks can be edited at any time, and if you accidentally delete a task, it's a snap to pop it right back on your Pending Task list.
Filter your Tasks
SimpleTask has a powerful live search feature that is made even more powerful by the ability to filter by Pending, Complete, and now Color Label. This strengthens the power of using colors as categories by being able to pull up any tasks matching your search in any given color.
Work your Way
SimpleTask allows you to use it as a regular application, as a menubar application, or as both at once.
While in the menubar, SimpleTask stays out of your way while keeping you aware of your important tasks.
